We had this Catamaran inspected by an outside company and also performance tested on the open water by Peak Performance, Inc. In their inspection of this unit, they did not note anything that needed attention other than what is mentioned below. In their opinion, the vessel is in good order, noting only in need of minor cosmetic repair.

Trailer is steel - in good shape (2 axles, no VIN number found -- and has buddie bearings) we noted the trailer lights did not work, no anchor or stern light, the flooring in the storage areas has signs of some aging (cosmetic), but structure is solid. Some dry rot on the 4 tires and spare (from sitting for a long time- trailer is drive able as is but we recommend replacement soon), the bilge pump start was operable, bilge pump port was inoperable (we did not troubleshoot it, could be something minor, or need replacing), am/fm/cd player did not work (could be a fuse, not sure, the present owner never listened to radio when out on the water), steering system is SeaStar Hydraulic worked as it should.

Battery port and battery star were new. bow lights worked, battery charger is Minn Kota MK210 and worked as it should, deck lighting worked as it should, the fresh water sink water pump did not work (my need a new one), water tank looked to be 10 gallons (no leaks found).

The Mercury 200 EFI engine (warranty remaining on the engine as stated in the ad :) As most are aware of, engine repairs if needed can be the most expensive part of owning a boat, so you have over a year warranty remaining on your engine :)

The engine ran extremely well, boat performed excellent on the water, and was water tested, no leaks found -- lots of power and very smooth (see videos). Top speed of 35 miles per hour. In summary, the in-op bilge pump should be repaired and a stern light added. In the summary - the ri conclusion is the overall condition of this boat considering its age, to be good, Once you bid on this Catamaran, your bid is considered binding.

Interior: The deck of this Bayliner is in excellent shape -- and, so are the seats which have been reupholstered along with the makeover in 2005. The boat has a marine toilet (see photo) in one of the hatches. The thin plywood inside the hatches over the pontoons have been removed in places to allow easy interior access to the pontoons. The front left pontoons still has the plywood but will need to be either removed and replaced, or removed if you ever need to check the pontoon.

Exterior: The exterior was also repainted in 2005 and is in fairly good shape as you se in the photos. You will see in the photos of the front sections a couple of areas where the paint has chipped off which is normal with age. You might want to replace the tires, as they have sat for many years.

This Catamaran has plenty of passenger room and storage, a sink, and wells for fish.

The underside of the boat is in great condition -- see details in the photos. The boat also come with the trailer as is shown on in the pictures. The canopy is in great condition and does not have any holes. The owner has included a cover for the boat. Please base your bids on what you see in the photos.

Mechanically: The motor starts and runs well as shown in our video's -- The video was taken standing on a floating dock. The video we took shows it running strong and fast on a nearby lake. The gauges working as also shown on the video's. The owner states that the boat has been used to fish, dive, ski, and of course tan, or with the canopy, just relax.

The owner we are selling this for spent over $25,000+ on this boat, so you are buying the boat for a fraction of what is invested. The motor alone today would sell for $10,000+.
